Cliche Day, observed Nov. 3, celebrates the art of using phrases to death. Of course, cliches don't appear out of thin air or just happen overnight. They have to start somewhere. Test your cliche knowledge and see if you can guess the origin of some these famous phrases. Will you make the grade or fall flat on your face?
